The. New Pictures

I sent my pictures again and this time they went right through.  I have no idea what  did differently.  Anyways here they are.

This is Patty directing the tour of the house.

we are in the garage looking into the living room.

This is Tyler’s room looking into his bath room and closet.  The ceilings are all done and the  walls all painted.  They are a misty grey a very masculine touch.

This is the linen closet that is in the hall just out sided the bathroom and my bedroom.  All the shelves are in as are most of the switch plates.

Stepping into my bed room you see my shelf is up in my closet but the wiring for my ceiling fan is not in yet even tho the ceilings are done.  We are told they will be there.  We’ll see!!

Same is true of Patty’s room.  They are identical except Patty looks out into the back yard and I look out into the front yard.

This is Tyler’s closet.  He has a walk in closet but I think he will have to put in a closet organizer if he wants shelves, which he does.

This is Tyler’s bath room all plumbed and looks out onto Patty’s house.  We tell Gina she has to be good in her bedroom as Tyler can see into her room and she will come over if she isn’t good.  Right now that is my room and will be Gina’s when I Move into this new house.

this is the view from Tyler’s room, it looks out into the living room and you can see my door one the right and Patty’s door on the left, that wall is the kitchen and you can just see the base of the bar, it is not in yet but will be.

This is the kitchen and the window over the sink looks out over the back yard,  That is the bar separating the kitchen from the living room and I am standing in the dinning room.  Again you can see our bed room doors on the right.  The floors are not done yet, they will all be tiled.  Tyler paid extra to have tile instead of rugs, it is so much easier to keep clean.  I took a picture of the laundry room just outside of Patty’s room but I had trouble getting it moved over so you will just have to take my word for it that it is all set for the washer and drier and the shelf is in.

Today they changed the big dumpster but I don’t think they worked inside today.  There is material in the garage but I am not sure what they are building with that material.  I’ll keep watch and let you know what is next.  Have a good day.

About Carol (Ouma) Petts

I am a retired teacher. I have taught all levels from kindergarten through college and have been retired now for over 20 years. The last ten years we have lived on a farm and lived off the land, growing our own food and canning for our extended family. Now we have sold the farm and are moving to Florida to truly retire. I guess I have always had a short attention span as this is our 11th move. We have moved from a small farm in New Hampshire, to more city type living, small business adventures, focusing more on traveling, Florida living, Georgia, and Tennessee farming and now back to Florida. My blog is a way to keep my children up to date on what I am doing and letting them know I am still alive and well. My children are spread across the country from New England to Florida, Nova Scotia to New Mexico and CA and several places between, They let me know what they are up to by commenting on my blog but they are so busy with their own lives most times I have to assume " no news is good news". Now I are starting on a new adventure so will try to give daily updates until we get settled into a routine. Then I know even if I am getting older and should settle down I will start looking for some new and exciting adventure to start. Welcome aboard. Norman died Oct 30, 2017 so I am continuing the journey alone with the aid of my children, grand children and great grand children. At present I am living with my daughter and we are 7 in one house and cover four generations. We range in age from 7 to 85 and are finding common ground, we are living proof that multi generations can live and function in a three bedroom house if they really want to. Soon my grandson will have his house built next door so we all will have a room of their own except for the seven year old twins who by choice will share a room.
