This week they have been here most every day working on the wiring of the new house. We went over to see what they had done with Tyler on Wednesday night but could not stop long as the kids were with us and it is hard to keep 30 little fingers aways from everything that is sticking out of the wall or hanging down from it and in Tyler’s house the word is “Don’t touch anything unless you are told you can.”
This is the front door. Right now it is not going to keep anyone out as you can see but we don’t want people coming in to look either so when we see anyone around the place we go over and ask them to leave. The two little boys from across the street were there one day and Patty went over and told them to leave and not come back as it was her son’s house and they had no business there. When Patty build this house someone came and broke the dinning room window durning the construction phase and they had to replace that so she has no intentions of the same thing happening to Tyler’s house.
This s Colby in the kitchen area, he wanted to touch those wall plugs so badly as you can see. We tied his hands with his “Whoopy” that is his security blanket or what is left of it after 7 years.
This is looking into my bed room from the kitchen area. It is hard to see the wiring but believe me it is there. When we go over tonight I may be able to get better pictures with no so much light coming in the windows. The windows are so nice and big every room will get so much natural light, it is really wonderful.
This is the front window. In front is the frame for the slider out to the back yard. That has not been put in yet but it is there ready to go It maybe done now or at least today. You can see the ladder on the front of the house and that is what those two neighbor boys about 7 were climbing when Patty sent them home. I am sure the construction company has insurance to pay if any one gets hurt on the site but there is no need to have to delay things because some parents can’t keep their kids home and away from dangerous things.
The neighbors on the side of the house claimed the bull dozer operator broke his fence when he cleared the lot. Tyler got a notice from the owner of the house that has renters in it now. Tyler was wild because you could see it had just rotted off at the bottom and the bull dozer never touched it or the foot or so in front of it. I don’t know if the complaint was thrown out or if our construction company already knew they would fix the fence but that was done Thursday by someone. Ill get a picture of that tonight also.
Here is enough light and in the right direction to see. This is in the garage and is the fusebox or at least where it will be. Yesterday they were here from the company inspecting the job. If they find anything that isn’t perfect or that they feel they could have done better they will be back here today to change it. Now I don’t know if we have to wait for a city inspection also or if the one is enough for this phase.
When we go over tonight with no kids so I can really look around I get pictures of anything new and post them this week end. Have a good day I will!!
