Yesterday we got 1/4 inch of rain and then this morning at 6:30 we got another quarter of an inch so the ground was just wet enough to make weeding easy. We went to the lower garden and side dressed everything except the potatoes. Then I transplanted about a dozen broccoli seedlings. I planted some seeds a couple weeks ago and they were all up good and I was just waiting for a day like this to transplant some out. I had to thin them and I just hate to kill a plant that is growing well so I took some of the seedlings and put them in any row that had a space where the seeds did not germinate. If these all grow we should have all the broccoli we want. I also wore my new work shoes from LL Bean and they are just what I wanted. They fit just right with the 3/4 in soles and I can walk on this slanted land without having my toes hurt. I am so glad to finally have shoes for inside and some for outside that fit right.
I wanted to add a video of my great grand daughter playing the cello but so far I can figure out how to do it. She is only 4 and did such a great job. If I figure it out I’ll add it tomorrow. Have a great day.
