I got to work on my sewing first thing this morning and finished Dyhana’s set and Prem’s set. They are both jumpers and a white blouse. They can be wore with the white blouse or with a jersey or without anything under the jumper when it is warm.
Prem’s dress is a size 1/2. It will be a while before it will fit her but she will grow into it. Dyhana’s is a size 8. The size 8 is a more adult style, it is fitted more than the little girl dresses are and look very stylish. When I took the picture I hit a wrong key and messed up my photo booth and when I tried to fix it I got voice over working and no idea what I did so could not get rid of it. Finally, I got it shut up by muting it and got the written part of it so small it doesn’t bother me. Then was I tried to do something else I got the scrolling all messed up so when I went to my genealogy to work on my family tree I could not just scroll down with the down key as that went down one word at a time so to scroll down to the bottom of a page took forever. I finally got it to scroll a little better but it still take a long time to work one person on the tree. So I just decided to chuck the whole thing for today and just make puzzles or cut out a new outfit. Maybe I’ll get back to computer tomorrow or maybe not depending on how frustrated I am by then. Have a good day, I will as I try to keep a cool head.

About Carol (Ouma) Petts
I am a retired teacher. I have taught all levels from kindergarten through college and have been retired now for over 20 years. The last ten years we have lived on a farm and lived off the land, growing our own food and canning for our extended family. Now we have sold the farm and are moving to Florida to truly retire. I guess I have always had a short attention span as this is our 11th move. We have moved from a small farm in New Hampshire, to more city type living, small business adventures, focusing more on traveling, Florida living, Georgia, and Tennessee farming and now back to Florida. My blog is a way to keep my children up to date on what I am doing and letting them know I am still alive and well. My children are spread across the country from New England to Florida, Nova Scotia to New Mexico and CA and several places between, They let me know what they are up to by commenting on my blog but they are so busy with their own lives most times I have to assume " no news is good news". Now I are starting on a new adventure so will try to give daily updates until we get settled into a routine. Then I know even if I am getting older and should settle down I will start looking for some new and exciting adventure to start. Welcome aboard. Norman died Oct 30, 2017 so I am continuing the journey alone with the aid of my children, grand children and great grand children. At present I am living with my daughter and we are 7 in one house and cover four generations. We range in age from 7 to 85 and are finding common ground, we are living proof that multi generations can live and function in a three bedroom house if they really want to. Soon my grandson will have his house built next door so we all will have a room of their own except for the seven year old twins who by choice will share a room.
Beautiful outfits Carol!!! You do have many talents! Sewing is not one of mine. I can’t even sew on a button without sewing my finger to the item or my skirt and have even managed to sew the garment’s front and back together. Don’t ask how because I don’t know. Probably because I hate it all the minute I pick up the needle!!!!! Avoid it all if possible. Maybe if I had produced a little girl I would have learned to sew for her as fun. Never know now.
Love, Nancy
Don’t worry about sewing, some like it and some don’t. You have your own talents. I remember you sitting out in the sun getting a beautiful tan and no matter how many times I tried to do that I never could get a tan, I could not sit still long enough to tan or burn and I am still that way. I have to have something to do every minute and reading just puts me to sleep so I use sewing or knitting to keep me from going nuts! Even watching TV does’t do it for me I must have my hands busy – you know what they say- Idle hands are the workshop of the devil – and that was always true about me, if I didn’t have some project to work on I was getting into trouble. Not so much now as there is nothing to get into here in the woods but I do still like to have several projects to work on and alternate between so I don’t get bored with them. I would die if I lost my sight so I keep the blueberries going every day to help that and so far it is working. Love Carol
So beautiful!!! The girls will love them! Sorry you are afflicted by the computer…. If it gets really bad maybe Bhai Daya can help… That is what I do when all else fails! But sometimes just turning it all the way off resets it.
Much love to you!
Thanks, I stepped back and got cooled off and tried again and have my Mac purring like a kitten again. I some times think I am just too old to learn these new things but I don’t think I could live without them now. We are very busy here now getting Joe moved over to TN and set up in his house, which he bought from us and now I think he has a buyer for the house too which puts us all in a tizzy but very welcome!! More on this later Love Mom
