Nice to talk to you today, Shirley. I bet that orchid is going to be beautiful. I have no idea when we will get up to see you. Right now we have all plans on hold until we see what Becca needs from us this year. It is hard for her to go far or fast with three little ones to pack up every where they want to go and with Chris working out of town most weeks she has to do it all herself. Patty goes over alot but when you are as busy as Becca anything short of a full time maid doesn’t seem like much. Today I picked 24 banana peppers and stuffed them with a hambur/rice stuffing and froze 6 dinners and 2 suppers for this winter. My freezers are getting so full I am going to have to stop and either eat the food from the garden or toss some out. It goes against my grain to toss out good food but I have no one to give it to and the two freezers can only hold so much and the truck will be full of can goods as it is so I guess I will have no choice. It is so nice a clean out back. You can see all the way to the garden from the screened porch. When we came here it was like sitting in a tree when you went out on the porch, now you have a nice long view. Norman pulled the last four rows of green bean plants and I fized the beans and cooked them. I got 5 quarts of them. I will keep about half of them out to fry for dinners and have frozen the other half to have in two weeks. We need to start eating some on the the vegetables in the freezer before we go to Florida but can’t until the garden stops producing. All for tonight. Have a great day.
