2012 Yesterday I made the jelly. I got some tarte green apples at the farmer’s market and made an apple pie for Norman, then used the others and the peelings for jelly. I also picked the last handfull of grape from my vines and a handful of blueberries and put those in and got 5 cups of juice to make jelly. I finished the half cup jars for the girls for Christmas presents and got one jar for us of the apple jelly then I took the last quart and pint of grape juice from last year and made grape jelly. I got 8 jars of grape jelly. So I am almost done with jelly. I hope to get some more apples for jelly for us. Today I will pick tomatoes again and put those with the ones I picked Tuesday and will can a small batch. Tomorrow we hope to burn some of the brush that is collecting, then on Saturday we will pick beans again. And so the harvesting and canning goes on. Have a great day.
