Sunday, letter writing day. I spent the morning writing my weekly letters to family and friends. Norman cleaned the house, not my favorite task and he will not write to the family so he does his thing while I do mine. I guess that is why we have lived together happily for 61 years. Early this morning I tried to get the Carver page started but ran into a problem when I tried to put on the pictures. I will try again but may have to put all the pictures on at once and then tell the story. Anyways that will have to wait as now it is time to put Oct. on this page.

Monday’s child is fair of face, Tuesday’s child is full of grace, Wednesday’s child is loving and giving, Thursday’s child will work hard for a living, Friday’s child is full of woe, Saturday’s child has a long way to go but the child that is born on the Sabath is loving and giving and good and kind. I wonder how many of these are true. Ruthie was born on Wed. and she was always loving and giving. I was born on Friday and as a child I was sure full of woe. My mother once asked me why I acted the way I did and I told her I really didn’t know but I know I always felt that no one loved me. She said I never gave anyone reason to love me so I guess it was true for me. Mary Lou was born on Thursday and was always a hard working girl without a complaint. Nancy, you were born on a Saturday. Did you feel you had a long way to go to get what you wanted? Time for dinner. Have a great day.
