Misty day today. It isn’t really raining but there is so much water in the air was you walk you get wet. The perfect day to transplant and to fertilize. My mums in the front garden seeded over last fall into the drive. I have a hard time to get things to grow in the garden so how can they grow in the stone drive? I transplanted a dozen small little mum plants into the flower box across the front of the house. Then we took some super rainbow down and fertized the onions and some 34-0-0 and fertilized the wild blueberried. It looks like we will have quite a few wild berries this year. For the past four years we have been clearing out the woods where they grow and have now gotten some sun in there so the berries are coming back. We will clear more of the underbrush and mess out this summer also. I have been trying to get the picture of the wild blueberries and the onions up but can’t seem to do it. I will keep trying later. Now I need to tend to the frozen tomatoes. Last fall when the frost came I picked all the tomatoes and tossed them into the freezer. I have been using them in cooking but now have about four gallons left. I will keep the green ones for cooking but am stewing the red ones to make pizza sauce. I will need that when the kids come. Have a great day.
